About Grand Prix Badminton tournaments:

Grand Prix badminton tournaments are Level 3 badminton events, that rank in stature just below the Super Series events. These are individual badminton events in which players from different countries compete in the singles and doubles events, but there is no team event at the Grand Prix.

The Grand Prix badminton tournaments are comprised of two levels, the Grand Prix Gold, and the Grand Prix. Grand Prix Gold tournaments offer more prize money to the winners.
