4th seeded Saina Nehwal of India, has stormed into the Finals of the women's singles event of the Indonesia Open-2011 Super Series Premier badminton tournament that is being held at Jakarta in Indonesia.
Defending champion Saina Nehwal who had won last year's Indonesia open title, got the better of Shao Chieh Cheng of the Chinese Taipei in the semi-final match defeating her by a score of 21-14, 14-21, 21-17 in a match that lasted for 45 minutes.
In the other all-Chinese women's singles semi-final, 3rd seed Yihan Wang defeated Yanjiao Jiang 21-13, 21-12, to set-up a final round clash with Saina Nehwal for the prestigious Indonesian Super Series Premier title.

2nd round: Saina Nehwal bt. Petya Nedelcheva (Bulgaria) 21-18, 21-9

Semi-Final: Saina Nehwal bt.Shao Chieh Cheng (Chinese Taipei) 21-14, 14-21, 21-17

Saina Nehwal who won 3 back-to-back superseries titles last year in 2010, has not won any super series title this year in 2011 so far. Her only major title win in 2011, has been the Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold title.
However this badminton tournament has so far turned out to be fantastic for Saina, and she would be looking forward to play at her best tomorrow to try and add the Indonesian super series title to her kitty this year also. Saina can also expect a lot of support from the Indonesian badminton fans, who would be rooting for her to win in tomorrow's final match.
