Aditi Mutatkar

Aditi Mutatkar is one of the best badminton players in India, and also the reigning National champion, having won the National Badminton Championship womens' singles title this year.

Aditi has representated India in several premier international badminton tournaments, as also the Commonwealth Games & the Asian Games. Based on the BWF badminton world rankings, She is the No.2 badminton player in India, next only to Saina Nehwal.

Aditi's badminton career has seen lots of up's and down's in the form of nagging knee injuries that have seriously threatened to put an end to her career. However this gutsy Pune girl has always bounced back with double the vigour & energy, to leave her mark on Indian badminton.

Notable Achievements:

National Achievements:
Aditi Mutatkar has won the National championship in all age groups, the Under-13, U-16, U-19, and most recently she won the womens' singles title at the National Badminton championship at Rohtak to become the National badminton champion of India.

International Achievements:
Aditi, reached the finals of the Bitburger Grand Prix 2008.
She was also a Semi-finalist in the Bulgarian Grand Prix 2008.
Mutatkar also reached the semi-finals of the Dutch Grand Prix 2008.

Commonwealth Silver Medal winner:
Aditi Mutatkar is also the proud winner of a Silver Medal in the badminton team event at the Commonwealth Games 2010, held at New Delhi in India.
