Arundhati in QF of Estonian Open

Nagpur girl Arundhati Pantawane, is following up her tremendous performance in the Indian Nationals at Rohtak, with yet another inspired performance at the Estonian open. She has now reached the quarterfinals of the Yonex Estonian International 2011 tournament.

Making a mockery again of her on-paper Qualifier status, she not only marched on to the main draw with comfortable ease, but has now made her way to the quarterfinals of the event.
She will be playing her quarterfinal match today.

Arundhati's Results so far at the Estonian Open:

Qualification Rounds:
Round 1: Arundhati Pantawane defeated Ieve Linkute 21-9, 21-9
Round 2: Arundhati Pantawane defeated Airi Mikkela (FIN) 21-10, 21-13

Main draw -
Round 1: Arundhati Pantawane defeated Natalia Perminova (UKR) 14-21, 21-8, 21-14
Round 2: Arundhati Pantawane defeated Natalya Voytsekh (UKR)  21-15, 21-12

She next faces Perrine Le Buhanic of France in the Quarterfinal match that will be held today at the Sports Hall Kalev-4 court. Her opponent Perrine is ranked No.85 in the world & is seeded 2nd in this tournament.

Lets hope Arundhati can pull this off...
